France’s business confidence is due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.
At 1.45 am ET, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs is scheduled to publish Swiss unemployment data. The jobless rate is seen unchanged at seasonally adjusted 3.2 percent in September.
At 2.30 am ET, the Bank of France is set to release business confidence survey results for September. The business sentiment index is expected to remain unchanged at 97 in September.
At 3.00 am ET, Spain industrial output data is due. Industrial production is forecast to rise 0.9 percent year-on-year in August after rising 0.8 percent in July.
In the meantime, the Czech jobless data is due. The unemployment rate is expected to fall to 7.3 percent in August from 7.4 percent in July.
Poland’s central bank is set to announce its interest rate decision later today. The bank is widely expected to cut its key rate by 25 basis points to 2.25 percent.
